MOD MARKIT RUWNAY
With over over 300 attendees and 7 modest fashion brands on show, the fashion show was the highlight of Mod Markit.
HIGHLIGHT: MOD MARKIT RUWNAY
Panel discussions as well as make up and business workshops were new to Mod Markit this year, and proved to be a hit amongst attendees. These elements really provided value to attendees and the feedback was to incorporate into the program yearly.
WHAT DID ATTENDEES HAVE TO SAY?
"Absolutely loved it - nothing like it in the country... Open, safe,
inclusive, diverse (in terms of people, but also brands and brans
as well as the program and the individuals), it was colourful, loved
the insta-friendly backdrops, great and engaging panel topics
- it's really nice that this supports and promotes a holistic
view of the 'modern day' modest Muslim woman -
celebrated for her aesthetic / fashion
and her values / intellect."
"I loved the structure and flow of the event! I really liked the fact that although
modmarkit is based around fashion and modest clothing, there were many more
things running at the same time. For example, both days there were panels as
well as different forms of entertainment, so people had the choice to choose
or even listen to the panel whilst shopping.""
